Preparation Tips by Level

JT5 / JT4

Beginner and Elementary

Upper Intermediate and Advanced

Read Japanese newspapers, academic articles, and business correspondence daily. Practice listening to NHK news broadcasts and business meeting recordings. Master keigo (honorific language), complex conditional structures, and causative-passive forms. Build vocabulary beyond 6,000 words.

Test Day Checklist
