How to Apply
Follow these steps to register for the JOT examination in Sri Lanka. The entire process can be completed online in under 15 minutes.

Create Your Account
Visit our registration page and create your candidate account with your full name, email address, and a valid NIC or passport number. Your account serves as your hub for scheduling, accessing materials, and retrieving results.
Required: valid email, government-issued ID, and a recent passport-size photo.

Choose Your Level and Venue
Select your preferred test level (JT1 through JT5) and pick a venue from the available locations. The platform shows real-time seat availability so you can secure your slot instantly.

Complete Payment
Pay the test fee of LKR 5,500 per sitting through the secure online gateway or via bank transfer. You will receive a confirmation email with your test slot details, venue address, and preparation guidelines within two business days.

Take the Test and Receive Your Certificate
Arrive at your test center 30 minutes early with your original NIC or passport. Complete the computer-based exam with facial recognition proctoring. Score reports are available within 5 business days, and passing candidates receive a downloadable digital certificate recognized by Japan’s Immigration Services Agency.
